SS Unity Club, Restaurant and Lounge in Ewarton, St Catherine, Jamaica, all started with nothing but an empty property-just a bare piece of land that many people passed by without a second thought. But where others saw emptiness, I saw possibilities. I imagined laughter, music, family gatherings, celebrations, and memories being created in that very space.
I knew it wouldn’t happen overnight. So, I began small- like putting one cocoa in a basket at a time. One idea, one step, one sacrifice, one investment. Slowly, the vision started to take shape. What was once just soil and grass turned into walls, lights, and open doors. A place where the community could come together.
Today, that once-empty property is now a dream business that took the shape of a SHIP- A Landmark nestled between Ewarton and Linstead in the parish of St. Catherine Jamaica. A vibrant venue where birthdays shine, mind relaxes, faces smile and good times never end. Over the years, SS Unity Club, has featured popular Jamaican reggae and dancehall artists including, DERRICK MORGAN, KEN BOOTHE, BRIGADIER JERRY, CHARLIE CHAPLIN, CAPELTON, LITTLE JOHN and ZUBER amoung others.
Unity Club Restaurant and Lounge in St Catherine is more than a business. It’s proof that when you start with one cocoa, then another, and keep filling the basket with faith, dedication, resilience, and hard work- your dream can and will become reality.

An accomplished Education Officer who holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the International University of the Caribbean. She brings not only academic excellence but also a vibrant personality to everything she does- fun, spontaneous, resilient, and undeniably tenacious.
Guided by her firm belief that, “if you’re on the road to success, you must overtake failure.” She inspires those around her to rise above challenges and pursue their goals with courage and determination. Her passion for learning and her dynamic character make her a true role model and an engaging presence.
